LIMERICK’S Treaty City Brewery has taken honours with its Shannon River IPA at this year’s Listowel Food Fair by winning “Best Emerging Artisan Food Product” category.
Led by Stephen Cuneen, Treaty City Brewery has gathered a huge following in its just over two year history.
The Listowel Food Fair also recognised a number of other Limerick artisan food producers with Jim O’Brien’s Greek Style Feta from West Limerick winning the marinated and smoked category in the cheese competition.
Listowel Arms’ Hotel head Chef, Mary Julian, is now tasked with creating a sumptuous menu incorporating the winning products to serve at a gala awards’ dinner on Friday 10 November.
