The Flag Listeners are back on stage

Singer/Songwriter Eamonn Hehir of Flag Listeners

IN October The Flag Listeners launched their long awaited debut album, ‘and other short stories’, to a packed house in Dolan’s Warehouse. Hot Press magazine’s Stuart Clark gave the album a glowing review, calling it “a songwriting masterclass from Limerick’s finest”.
National and local radio stations have played tracks from the debut with Paul McLoone (Today FM) and Tom Dunne (Newstalk), giving the songs of Eamonn Hehir (vocals, acoustic and electric guitar), John Steele (vocals, electric guitar, lap steel), Sean Fox (bass guitar, backing vocals) and Tony Brennan (drums, backing vocals) regular airplay.
The band featuring players from 80s Limrock legends Toucandance has quickly developed a reputation for delivering a dynamic and generous live show featuring songs from this debut and some of Eamonn Hehir’s previous solo work.
The Flag Listeners play Dolan’s next Wednesday December 27.
