โ€œLong at the creative hub of multi-award winning Irish jazz group Zrazy, Carole now turns her attention toย  exploration of the piano trio form.ย  โ€˜One Day in Winterโ€™ is located in a particular space and time. Living between the River Barrow and the Blackstairs Mountains in Carlow gave Carole both the physical and mental landscape for composition.

โ€œThe album traces the course of one winterโ€™s day, from before dawn to moonrise. In between, we are taken on a journey that describes a human landscape as much as a physical one โ€“ meditation, playfulness, wonder, contemplation of ageing and death, human warmth and companionship.โ€
