We Turn Tables at Punch’s

Andrew O'Donoghue

WE Turn Tables features Limerick record selectors Andrew O’Donoghue and Did O’Dea. In the first in what is to become a regular event at Punch’s Bar, Andrew and Did will play their favourite soul, jazz, funk, disco and house music in the courtyard.
The evening sessions are an opportunity for local and well travelled selectors to showcase their love for vinyl says DJ Andrew O’Donoghue who plays regularly at city centre cafe The Buttery.

“We are trying to create an nice, warm atmosphere – we think with the hours at which it runs combined with the venue – we really could be anywhere. We hope to see happy faces along with some happy feet.”

This Saturday Ireland are going for the Grand Slam in rugby, Na Piarsaigh are vying to be All Ireland Club Champions, so if results go our way there will be loads to celebrate when these selectors pick their best to get the party started.

Andrew’s top three records that he never leaves home without feature Nu Yorican Soul, DJ Rork and Muzique Tropique – music that will certainly bring the sun-kissed vibes to the courtyard this weekend.

We Turn Tables kicks off from at Punch’s Bar Courtyard this Saturday March 17 after the England v Ireland 6 Nations rugby match.
