Four arrested in Operation Thor crackdown

 

FOUR men, arrested in the early hours, remain in Garda custody this Wednesday as Gardai target the disruption of organised crime in Limerick.

As part of Operation Thor, Gardaí in Henry Street have arrested the four men following two burglary incidents and the unauthorised taking of a vehicle in the Castletroy area of Limerick during the early hours of this Wednesday morning.

Gardai are conducting investigations and interviews with the four men whose ages range from their late teens to late 30s.

The four are currently detained at Roxboro Road Garda Station under section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.

Gardai say that the investigation is ongoing.
