THROUGHOUT the buildup to Limerick’s now legendary win in the All-Ireland hurling final, businesses throughout Limerick city and county got behind their team and flew the flag for Limerick.

Limerick bars and restaurant were among those businesses who put out posters, bunting, green white decor and messages of support for the Limerick team – as did Limerick Post. Last Sunday Limerick was a sea of green and white as fans made their voices heard.

As thousands of fans celebrated at Croke Park and in the Gaelic Grounds, the atmosphere all over Limerick reached fever pitch.

The After Dark team decided to pay a visit to The Old Quarter Bar in the heart of the Market Quarter to soak up some of the atmosphere as Limerick took home the much coveted title of All Ireland champions!

As you can see from our photographs, Limerick fans were out in force as they enjoyed the thrilling match against Galway live on the big screens dotted throughout the popular city centre venue.
