‘Hero’ is a humorous, reflective play coming to Friars’ Gate, Kilmallock on Saturday September 1, created by Lakedaemon and Theatre Upstairs. Written by Ken Rogan, Hero is about Smithy’s/ Daithà Mac Suibhne’s struggle for love being complicated by a chance encounter with Miranda. You might know Mac Suibhe himself from TV work, a familiar face through runs with Fair City and Ros na Rún.
