Limerick's Conor McNamara rides first career winner in Killarney - Limerick Post Newspaper

There was great family success in the concluding race at Killarney on Friday last as Rathkeale’s Conor McNamara rode his first career winner aboard Offshore Oscar which is trained by his father Eric. The seven-year-old powered home by five-and-a-half-lengths in the Adare Manor Opportunity Handicap on a day to remember for the McNamara clan.

Oola’s Cathal Landers ensured the winning feeling would last a while longer on the back of Limerick’s All-Ireland success with victory aboard Cooladine Bog in the Summer Party Pack Discount Group Booking Maiden Hurdle at Kilbeggan on Friday.  Andy Slattery trained the 11/4 winner.
