Kyle Hayes and Cian Lynch nominated for PwC Player of the All-Ireland Final.

Kyle Hayes, Cian Lynch and Joe Canning have been nominated for the PwC Player of the match for the 2018 All Ireland final. Kyle Hayes won the RTE award for man of the match after a brilliant performance where he notched four points from play and was a key player in the Limerick attack that registered 3-16 on the day.

Hayes alongside Lynch won an All Ireland U21 title the previous year where he was nominated for U21 Hurler of the Year for his performances at centre back. This year he excelled at centre-forward for the senior side.

Lynch was equally impressive for Limerick, scoring a point from midfield as well as working tirelessly around the field alongside his midfield partner Darragh O’Donovan. Joe Canning racked up 1-10 for Galway in the final and was unquestionably the standout player for Galway in Croke Park.
