In this week’s podcast, we look back on a Munster’s superb 41-15 road win at Kingsholm to put them firmly in control of Pool 2. A win over Exeter at the weekend would see Munster win the Pool but relying on other results for an outside shot at a home 1/4 final.

We also look at how the other provinces fared in what was a clean sweep over the weekend. All four can qualify for the knockouts as the final pool round beckons. We also take a closer look at Simon Zebo’s tweet and how Ulster Rugby should follow up on the alleged issue.

The French club released the following statement about the incidents:

“Racing 92 strongly condemns the racist insults that Simon Zebo was targeted with on Saturday during the European Cup game between this club and Ulster Rugby at Kingspan Stadium in Belfast,” reads the statement.

“Racism has no place in rugby, in which the values of solidarity and togetherness are the exact opposite of any forms of discrimination.

“Racing, however, does not wish to stigmatise Ulster Rugby as a whole. The insults suffered by Simon Zebo are the actions of only one or two individuals and have been condemned by many Ulster fans who have shown their support for Simon.”

In response Ulster Rugby said it “condemns all forms of abuse and will work with the relevant parties to robustly investigate any complaints received.”
