Gardaí in Henry Street are investigating a fatal three-vehicle road traffic collision that occurred on O’Curry Street, Limerick last night, Wednesday 4th March at approximately 9:40pm. — The incident happened in Newcastle West.

Gardaí have arrested a woman in her 20s following a robbery incident at Catherine Place, Co Limerick on the 24^th January 2019.

Shortly after 8pm, Gardaí in Roxboro Road received a report after a man was approached by a woman, armed with what is believed to be a syringe, and demanded he handed over all of his cash. The suspect left the scene with a small sum of money and following a preliminary investigation by Gardaí a woman was arrested a short time later. The man was not injured during the incident.

She was brought to Roxboro Road Garda Station where she is currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
