LIMERICK music collective WaGwan run club nights playing bass heavy dubstep and breakbeat and their own productions. WaGwan have created a record label and the first release is a compilation showcasing new producers in the Irish scene.
“The first release will be in the form of the inaugural instalment of a Compilation Series entitled Varied Vibrations. Not to be held down to one style or genre, the release will feature a wide variety of sounds ranging from atmospheric break heavy pieces, to straight up grime cuts, to Dubstep skankers,” reports the WaGwan Crew.
The EP features experimental, mid-tempo and dancefloor banngers from UshMush, 40Hurtz, WG3, DAnEm and Meijes among others.
WaGwan launch Wanz and its first release ‘Varied Vibrations Vol. 1 EP’ this Thursday March 21 at Pharmacia.
