A STORE run by a group of local designers, makers and artists has been burgled just one week before Christmas.

Made in Limerick, based on Thomas Street in Limerick City, which sells and displays crafts and products made by local designers has taken to social media to ask members of the public to contact Gardaí if they are approached if they have any information.

“The robbers took handmade sterling silver jewellery,” the post to the shop’s Facebook Page says which contains pictures of some of the items that were reported stolen.

“So please, if you will see anywhere someone trying to sell these kinds of jewellery contact Gardaí immediately.”
