Dromcollogher Broadford’s Niamh McCarthy will take on the mantle as Limerick Ladies Football captain for the upcoming season is was announced today.
Caroline Hickey from County Champions St Ailbes will act as vice captain for 2020.
McCarthy takes over from Cathy Mee as captain of a much changed Limerick team for 2020.
This year the side will be managed by Donal Ryan after John Ryan stepped down after the sides relegation to the Junior Ranks in 2019.
Ryan is working with a panel of 34 players with the team to kick off the their National Football League campaign Sunday week away to Carlow.
