PRIMA Volta is the Limerick based collective originally founded for Limerick’s City of Culture year bringing fresh music to venues in the city on a regular basis in recent years.
Prima Volta’s primary focus is on emerging underground Irish talent in hip hop, jazz and electronic music, running a monthly event in The Record Room on Catherine Street

The collective is Caiman Walsh, Bill Barham, Adam Broe and Peter Curtin who also presents Groover’s Corner weekly on 2XM.
