Airbnb is inviting Limerick people who lead grassroots, cultural and community initiatives to apply for funding as part of a new grants programme. ‘Áitiúil’ is a pilot scheme designed to provide funding of between €500 and €5,000 to cultural and community projects. There is no requirement to be an Airbnb host or guest to apply. Grants will be provided to a diverse of range projects including promoting sustainability of the natural environment, raising awareness of places of cultural or historical significance, entrepreneurship in the Irish tourism industry and preserving local festivals
