Cheltenham Day 2 belongs to JP McManus with Four victories

After an opening day Champion Hurdle victory for Epatante, JP McManus was the big winner on day 2 of the 2020 Cheltenham Festival.

McManus was successful in the 2.10 RSA Chase as Champ powered from nowhere after the last fence to clinch victory under Barry Geraghty.

McManus, Geraghty and Nicky Henderson came up trumps in the 2.50 with Dame de Compagnie winning the Coral Cup.

In the 4.10, McManus’ Easyland beat out the formidable challenge of Tiger Roll to give French Jockey Jonathan Plougnou his first ever victory at the Festival.

Mark Walsh gave the Limerick man his fourth of the day in the Boodies Juvenile Handicap on the Gordan Elliott trained Aramax.
