2020 Pig n’Porter at Old Crescent Cancelled

THE hugely popular Pig n’Porter Tag Rugby Festival which has been held at Old Crescent RFC for the last 18 years will not take place due to the current restrictions.

“In light of the Covid-19 restrictions around sport and gatherings, unfortunately PigN’Porter 2020 will not take place on the 18th July.

“Rest assured that Old Crescent R.F.C. will bring you the best Festival as soon as it’s safe to do so. Until then, stay safe and stay well.” a tweet said.

 

In a short statement, Old Crescent said,

“Old Crescent RFC is extremely disappointed to announce that the Pig n’ Porter 2020 Tag Rugby Festival will not take place on 18th July, due to Covid 19 restrictions around sporting events and gatherings.

We fully support the Government’s efforts to combat this disease and save lives.

Rest assured that Old Crescent RFC’s team of volunteers will bring you the best Festival when it is safe to do so.

Stay tuned and we will update you as soon as possible. Until then, stay safe and stay well.”
