WELL respected and experienced Limerick Junior soccer referee and Chairman of the East Limerick Branch Donal Power spoke to us in relation to the protocols released by the FAI to allow referees return to officiate games from July 11th.
There are a number of small yet significant changes for both clubs and referees to contend with on match days in order to adhere to social distancing and ensure everyone’s safety.
Donal also discusses the shortage of referees in both Limerick and Ireland as a whole as well as detailing his experience in dealing with players in recent years.
