Significant downward trend in COVID-19 cases in Limerick in 2 weeks

LIMERICK Fine Gael TD Kieran O’Donnell has welcomed the significant downward trend in Covid-19 cases in Limerick in the last weeks and has encouraged everyone in Limerick to keep this positive trend going.
“I welcome this significant and very positive downward trend of Covid-19 cases in Limerick over the last 2 weeks which demonstrates how the people of Limerick have reaffirmed their commitment to public health guidelines.
“In data I compiled (Attached and in note to editor) from today’s daily Health Protection Surveillance Centre Covid-19 14-day reports, the incidence rate for Limerick is down to 38.50 from 45.70 yesterday, this represents a 38% swing in the last 2 weeks from 8th to 21st September.
“I would encourage across Limerick to keep this positive trend going and to redouble our efforts to reduce the spread of Covid-19.
