Limerick camogie manager Paul Sexton has stepped down from his role with immediate effect due to personal reasons according to Matt O’Callaghan.
Sexton, who is in his first year in charge of the side, oversaw a first round championship defeat to Westmeath in Bruff last weekend.
Limerick are due to play Waterford this Sunday in Walsh Ppark in the second round, knowing their season is on the line with another defeat knocking them out of the reckoning.
Sexton has had to deal with the loss of several key players who have opted out of the side for varying reasons in 2020 including All Star Niamh Mulcahy.
