Treaty United player Jenna Slattery has had a big impact for the club during its first year in existence.
Slattery was signed as an under-17 player by Irene Hehir but her subsequent performances resulted in a call-up to the senior team quickly.
The lively player scored for Dave Rooneyโs senior side in last weekendโs 4-5 victory over Bohemians and could well play a part in this weekendโs FAI Cup Semi-Final against Cork City. She admits the step-up to Womenโs National League level is huge.
โIts a big step-up from club level. Its not easy, you have to be professional and you have to keep working hard. Itโs very competitive between players soy you have to keep working hard in training and I have been doing and luckily I have been getting opportunities.โ
