WHILE COVID-19 has unsettled many business sectors, Limerick-based management consulting company, LBS Partners, has found a bright light amid the pandemic.
Forced to transition all its client interactions, both training and consulting, to an online platform, which necessitated a business model reshape, the positive outcome has been an identification of new opportunities, particularly in UK and European markets and an expansion of its highly experienced and expert 30-person team.
Providing smart and sustainable solutions to business problems for clients in Ireland, the UK and the US, across sectors as diverse as engineering, medical devices, pharma, engineering, food, IT and contact centres, the requirement to take on three new hires was prompted by an increase in demand for the Company’s services driven by the many challenges now facing companies.
As LBS CEO, Gene Leonard explains: “We noted a shift to digitalisation across many of the sectors we work with and realised that we needed to bring in people with the requisite skills and expertise to enable us respond to that demand.
“We are delighted to announce that three exceptionally talented individuals have decided to join our team and add to the depth and breadth of our experience. Initially all three will be working remotely with our clients, which also changes the way we normally onboard new hires. It’s been a new experience for us all but has worked out very well.”

“Ighni Kindlon joins us as an operational excellence lead consultant. The expertise he brings to the company will enable us to meet the growing demand from our clients for digital transformation and help them meet the future internal and external challenges they face, particularly the need adopt smarter and more technologically advanced operational processes .

“Ben Kelly joins us as a leadership and management consultant and coach. With senior- level experience in learning and development, and human resources, he has vast expertise in monitoring, evaluating and updating training programmes.

“This will help to support our transformation teams to fuse the development of people and leadership teams with capability development to deliver lasting and sustainable change in companies.

“Ronan Moriarty adds energy consultancy expertise to our team. His knowledge of designing, implementing, and maintaining energy management systems will be very beneficial in helping companies to reduce their carbon footprint.

“He will work with companies to establish a base case of their energy usage across their organisation and implement innovative and digital solutions that will reduce their current and future energy bills.

“We believe that companies will need support and advice more than ever to help them retain or regain market share and position themselves to utilise the technologies of the future.
