New fuel and fast food outlet plazas on Galway Road

Pat McDonagh

PLANS have been put forward for two new fuel and fast food outlet plazas on the Limerick to Galway road. Pat McDonagh, who is founder of the Supermacs restaurant chain has applied to Limerick City and County Council for planning permission for a Barack Obama type outlet but on a smaller scale than the Moneygall landmark.
One location is on the M7, the other on the N69 next to the entrance to the Limerick Tunnel. There are also plans for a plaza off the Galway motorway outside Ennis.
