THIS Saturday, the Limerick minor footballers will kick off their Munster Championship this Saturday when they face Waterford in the LIT Gaelic Grounds at 1pm.
This comes after the initial fixture was postponed less than a week out from the game in late October.
Limerick are managed by Joe Lee, brother of Senior manager Billy.
David Lavin , Stephen Lavin, Paudie McCarthy & John O’Grady act as coaches/selectors.
Joe Lee named his side for the game on Thursday afternoon.
The winners of this Saturday’s tie will have a quick turnaround and will face either Tipperary or Clare in the semi-final on Tuesday next.
The final is fixed for Tuesday December 22 at 7pm.
The side is captained by Galbally’s Eoin McGrath with Ballysteen’s Padhraic McMahon acting as vice-captain.
Only four of last year’s squad remain in the shape of captain McGrath, Michael O’Mahony, Fran Corcoran and James Killian.
Killian is one of seven Mungret St Players to make the squad with Galbally the next highest with four representatives.
