LIMERICK boxing sensation Paddy Donovan continued his 100% start to life in the professional ranks after beating Siar Ozgul on Saturday night.

Donovan is now 6-0 with four knockouts after Ozgul didn’t return to the ring for the fifth round in their Saturday night bout at the Bolton Whites Hotel.

Under the tutelage of former world champions Andy Lee, Donovan was impressive in getting the job done against the respected Turkish opponent.

Speaking after the fight, ‘Real Deal’ spoke about his desire to improve as a boxer with tougher challenges ahead for the 22-year-old as they move into championship territory.

“I am going to improve and keep getting better. Listening to Andy, my Dad and Sean Kelly is training me at the moment. Going to keep building and keep improving. The sky is the limit.”

His trainer Lee echoed those thoughts, saying they are finding it difficult to find opponents for the rising star.

“We cant get anyone to fight him!”
