Rebekah Daly and Aine Cunningham selected on Ladies Junior Football Team of the Year

LIMERICK Ladies football duo Rebekah Daly and Aine Cunningham were both named on the 2020 TG4 Ladies Junior Football Team of the Year on Saturday night.

Athea’s Daly was named at corner back on the side with Cunningham of Drom/Broadford selected at wing forward.

Despite losing out in the final, Wicklow have the most players with seven chosen while winners Fermanagh have five players selected. Antrim’s Saoirse Tennyson rounds off the team.

Limerick fell in the semi-finals to eventual winners Fermanagh, losing out 4-10 to 4-3.
