Barnes will officiate the tie between four times winners Toulouse and twice champions Munster in Thomond Park with kick off at 3pm.

The English man was in charge in the opening round of this year’s Six Nations when Munster’s Peter O’Mahony was sent off for a dangerous clear out in Ireland’s loss to Wales.

The winners of the game will face the winners of Clermont and Wasps the following week in the quarter-finals.
