ON day three of the 2021 Cheltenham Racing Festival, Limerick’s JP McManus picked up his first win of the week with Chantry House prevailing in the first.

JP McManus got his first win of the 2021 festival and 73rd overall with Chantry House and Nico de Boinville as they upset the odds as favorite Envoi Allen fell at the third in the first race of the day.

Bryan Cooper and Mrs Milner were successful in the 1.55 Pertemps Handicap hurdle for Paul Nolan.

Rachel Blackmore picked up her fourth Grade 1 winner of the week as she streaked home on Ahallo in the Ryanair chase.

Flooring Porter led from pillar to post under Danny Mullins in the 3.05 Stayers Hurdle.

Under Jordan Gainford, Shunter landed the Paddy Power Plate Hanidicap Chase and the $100,000 bonus in the 3.40.

Rachel Blackmore’s fifth win of the week took her past all the Great Britain trainers combined for the week as she steered Tellmesomethinggirl to victory in the Parnell Properties Mares Novice Hurdle.

Making up for his disappoint fall under Envoi Allen, Jack Kennedy had his third winner of the week in the Fulke Walwyn Kim Muir Challenge Cup under Mount Ida.

Heading into Gold Cup day, JP McManus is third in the list of owners with 1 Winner, 3 runners up and 1 third.
