Limerick’s Camogie League fixtures revealed


THE Limerick Senior Camogie side have been drawn with Galway and Clare in the 2021 National Camogie League.

Meanwhile, the junior side are drawn in Group two of Division 3 with Clare, Waterford and Carlow.

Pat Ryan’s senior charges will kick off their Littlewoods Camogie League campaign on May 22 away to Clare after receiving a bye in the first round on May 15.

They will then host Galway in the final group game the following week.

There will be a draw for the knockout stages with two of the top three teams advancing straight to the semi-finals with the other in the quarters. The three teams that finish second will also advance to the quarter-final stages which will be played on June 5/6.

The semi finals are down for decision the following week as is the relegation play-off.

The final will be played on June 19/20 with the relegation final on the same weekend.

The junior side open their season Saturday May 15 against the Banner at home.

The following week they travel to Carlow before rounding off the campaign against Waterford on May 29.

First and second in each group advance to the semi-final. Bottom in each group into Relegation final.

The final of the competition is down for June 19.
