PLANS for a ‘pilot’ dog park are underway following a proposal to Limerick City Council by Cllr James Collins.

The project is to be developed in Mungret Park and will undergo review after six months to evaluate any concerns surrounding the project.

Cllr Collins is calling on Limerick city residents for suggestions on alternative dog park locations in the Limerick area, in hopes that the project will receive a positive response from the community.

Suggestions for alternative locations included Arthurs Quay, Clare Street Park and People’s Park in the city centre.
