It was a first win in six years for the Donegal based trainer Charlie Moore.

After the race, a delighted Joyce reflected on his maiden win saying,

“It’s a great feeling to ride your first winner. I’m 18 and based with Johnny Murtagh. I’d like to get as many winners as I can and get as many outside rides as I can this season.”

Joyce is a regular jockey for Kildare based trainer Johnny Murtagh.

The win came in just Joyce’s sixth ever race, his best finish since he came second on Misterio in his first ever outing in February.
