EPISODE 143 of Treaty Talk sees Jack Neville sit down once again with the formidable Matt OโCallaghan to discuss the giant fixtures set for this weekend.
The experts break down the upcoming clash between Cork and Limerick which has been considered a classic fixture in recent years. History is set to be written again this weekend as the two sides meet at Semple Stadium.
“It has all the ingredients of a cracker!”
Says Matt OโCallaghan
The Limerick minor hurling side are set to play favourites Galway this Friday in Ennis and the Treaty Talk duo are hopeful yet realistic when it comes to predicting the games outcome.
Limerick havenโt held a minor hurling championship title since 1984 and there is no shortage of praise for the Galway minorโs who are going for four titles in a row. Although the Limerick minors show significant promise, it will be a tall task to knock Galway off their peak.
“I think itโs going to be difficultโฆ but I cannot let the green mist deny reality here on this one.”
says OโCallaghan
Limerick Camogie are hell bent on capitalising off their promising performances against Kilkenny and Galway, and theyโll seek to topple the last of the big three in the Munster Camogie final against Cork.
This will be Limerick Camogieโs second Munster title in four years if they can manage to get over the Rebels at the Ragg this weekend.
“It would be huge! It would be a landmark! It would be a mile stone!”
OโCallaghan on the prospect of a Munster Camogie Championship victory for Limerick
