Garda Dave Barry, Mayorstone Garda Station, told the court he arrested Mr Coffey at 7.15pm Lord Edward Street, Limerick, August 10th.

Garda Barry said he conveyed Mr Coffey to Henry Street Garda Station and charged him.

Mr Coffey, who wore a tracksuit and jacket, and sporting a tattoo on his neck, did not speak during the brief hearing.
