“I was told hard work beats talent if talent doesn’t work hard” – Cian Lynch following PwC Player of the Month award

Following another brilliant year from Limerick hurlers and in particular Cian Lynch, The mercurial playmaker received the PwC Player of the Month for August.

With standout performances throughout the month and in particular in the All-Ireland final, the Patrickswell man was honoured with the award.

There would have been little argument from anyone in the county of Limerick or across the country who could disagree with the selection as many believe Lynch was the standout player of the year also.

Speaking to Balls.ie the 25 year old mentioned what his priciples are and what motivates him to be the best player he can be as he said:

“I was told hard work beats talent if talent doesn’t work hard”.
