Limerick show for Ed Sheeran

RECORD BREAKING superstar Ed Sheeran (12 months at No. 1 and over 150 million records sold so far) is to play a stadium show in Thomond Park, Limerick on Thursday May 5, 2022. The Limerick show is the first leg of a stadium tour that includes dates in Cork, Belfast and Limerick.

Tickets for Ed Sheeran go on sale on Saturday September 25 from www.edsheeran.com.

Edโ€™s upcoming โ€˜+ – = รท x Tourโ€™ (The Mathematics Tour) will see Ed return to stadiums for the first time since his record-breaking โ€˜Divide Tourโ€™: taking place from 2017-2019, it officially became the most-attended and highest-grossing tour, ever, by the time of its completion.

On next yearโ€™s dates, fans are promised an array of tracks off his upcoming album, โ€˜=โ€™, live for the first time, and they will also experience a new production set-up with Edโ€™s staging in the round, surrounded by the crowd in each stadium.

Edโ€™s new album โ€˜=โ€™ will be released on October 29 through Asylum/Atlantic. Later today, Sheeran is set to replace himself at No.1 in the UKโ€™s Official Singles Chart following the release of his new single โ€˜Shiversโ€™ โ€“ a track that Ed performed for the first time at last weekendsโ€™ MTV VMAโ€™s.
It follows his colossal comeback track, โ€˜Bad Habitsโ€™, that has, so far, spent 11 consecutive weeks atop the same chart. Moreover, as of last week, Ed has become the first British Solo Artist to claim 52 weeks โ€“ a full year โ€“ at No.1 on the Official UK Singles Chart, with only Elvis Presley and The Beatles achieving more overall weeks at the top.
