RESULTS: Knockout stages beginning to take shape after the second round of the Limerick Camogie Championships

THE second round of the Limerick Camogie Championships took place over the weekend.

In the Nevilleโ€™s Jewellers Senior Championship, Newcastle West made it two wins from two in Group One as they beat Crecora. Ahane recovered from their loss to NCW by beating last yearโ€™s Intermediate champions Bruff. In Group 2, defending champions Killeedy booked their place in the knockout stages with a second consecutive win.

In the Intermediate Championship, Murroe Boher and Cappamore kept up their winning starts, overcoming Killeedy and Croagh Kilfinny respectively. Monaleen picked up a first win of the campaign as did Ballyagran. Newcastle West and Croagh Kilfinny are yet to pick up a point.

Adare made it two from two in the Junoir championship while Mungret St Pauls had a winning start to the season as they beat Blackrock Effin.

The third round of the championship takes place on the weekend of October 16-17.
