Senior and Intermediate Camogie finals to be played in TUS Gaelic Grounds double header

LIMERICK’S marquee stadium will host the Senior and Intermediate Ladies Football Finals this Sunday.

The TUS Gaelic Grounds is set to host the Limerick Senior and Intermediate Camogie finals next weekend it has been confirmed.

The Senior final is a repeat of last year with champions Killeedy to face the side they dethroned twelve months ago Newcastle West. The Intermediate final pits last year’s losing finalists Cappamore with Monaleen.

The senior final was originally scheduled for a 2.30pm throw in on Sunday November 21 but that could be changed with the Intermediate final’s original start time of 11.30pm also set for change.

The senior pairing will see the form teams facing off with Newcastle West and Killeedy both holding 100% records heading into the final. Last year Killeedy were 1-9 to 0-7 winners to earn a first title in eight years. Newcastle West won a maiden crown in 2019 before being dethroned by their West neighbours last year.

Cappamore were defeated by three points in last year’s final and will be seeking to go one better this time around against Monaleen.
