A year on from winning the Ladies Intermediate Football championship, Drom Broadford retained their title at the TUS Gaelic Grounds.

Faced with Oola, Drom Broadford got off to a flying start, moving five clear at the first water break with Laura Stack netting.

But goals either side of the half from Kathleen Bradshaw and Lainey Stokes pulled Oola back into the game who found the lead heading into the final quarter.

However, last year’s champions showed their experience to hit five of the last six scores to retain their title.

And after missing out on promotion last year due to the Covid 19 pandemic, Drom will play Senior football net summer.
