BOTH Limerick Basketball outfits were in National Division One action over the weekend.

The Celtics were first out on Thursday evening as they traveled to Killarney to take on the Cougars. And for the second time this season, the Limerick outfit were on the right side of the scoreline, claiming a 88-72 win in the Presentation Gym.

That result takes their season record to 4-1 just a game behind second placed Limerick Sport Eagles. Their unbeaten record came to an end in UL on Friday evening as they fell to a 83-92 defeat at the hands of IT Carlow.

The win moves the Leinster outfit onto an identical record to the Celtics with UCC Demons still out on top with six wins from six.
