Recognition for Wall and Coombes at the Rugby Players Ireland Awards

MUNSTER claimed a number of prizes at Friday nightโ€™s Rugby Players Ireland awards.

Dorothy Wall won the Womenโ€™s Player of the Year and Young Player of the Year while Gavin Coombes won the Nevin Spence Menโ€™s Young Player of the Year award.

Robbie Henshaw was named Menโ€™s Player of the Year, Bรฉibhinn Parsons won the Womenโ€™s Try of the Year Award for her effort against Wales in the Six Nations and JJ Hanrahanโ€™s try for Munster against Cardiff won the Menโ€™s Try of the Year.

CJ Stander accepted theย Moment of the Year Award on behalf of his former Irish teammates for their victory over England in the final round of the Six Nations. The occasion also marked Standerโ€™s last outing in green.

Lucy Mulhall won the Irish Womenโ€™s 7s Player of the Year with Olympian Terry Kennedy claiming the Irish Menโ€™s 7s Player of the Year for a third time.

The Contribution to Irish Society award was presented to Tommy Bowe.
