Munster Fullback to follow Head Coach to the English Premiership Next Year

MUNSTER’S Matt Gallagher will be joining his current Head Coach, Johann Vaan Graan as Bath announce a new attacking coach and a further two new players.

Bath Rugby have confirmed a host of new acquisitions for next year including Munster full back Matt Gallagher.

The former Saracens man will join current Munster Head Coach Johaan van Graan at the English club.

Gallagher is an English player who first made his name in a Saracens jersey way back in 2014 before he joined Munster in 2020. Gallagher only managed a eleven appearances for Munster due to a combinaton of injury problems and Covid.

At the young age of 25, Gallagher still has plenty of time to return to the English Premiership and once again try to make a name for himself.

With this announcement, Bath also released that they had acquired two new players to unveil alongside new coach, Joe Maddocks.

Bath’s Chief Executive Tarquin McDonald was in high hopes about the signings,

“We have been seeking players with talent and character, people who will share our resolve to drive the club back to the top of the league. We will be delighted to welcome Matt, Niall and Wesley to the club later this year.
