Three Things That Matter with Ann Blake | Guest: Sharon Slater (Historian)

In episode 7 of the second series, Ann speaks to local historian, Sharon Slater.

Sharon’s three things bring the listener on a journey from album covers for an imaginary band, to the magic of the census and why there is no need to be good at your hobbies.

Sharon is Historian-in-Residence at Ormston House. She has been researching the history of life in Limerick for over twenty years, and holds an MA in Local History from the University of Limerick. Sharon is the author of multiple publications, the most recent of which is “100 Women of Limerick”.
