Try-Lights | Four try Crescent dominate Senior Cup Final

THE Limerick school dominated from start to finish in yesterday’s Senior Cup final.

Crescent College Comprehensive are Senior Cup champions for the 12th time after they beat Cork side PBC 26-5 in Thomond Park yesterday.

The Limerick outfit were 14-0 to the good at the interval, before adding another pair of tries in the second half to seal the win.

Brandon Nash was the first to get over the line with Jed O’Dwyer getting their second of the half. Oscar Davey had the third of the day before Max Cleine completed the scoring on the day with an opportunistic effort.

It was a first triumph since 2014 for the Dooradoyle school who are Limerick’s most successful team in the competition.
