DUBLIN grime/rap duo Mango X MathMan have established themselves as one of the scene’s highly regarded artists with a killer live show.
Inspired by Dublin’s rave culture, they have pushed the musical and creative boundaries of grime and hip hop building momentum in a series of notoriously energetic festival performances, basement raves and warehouse parties.
The album ‘Casual Work’ (2019) was named in the Irish Times top 5 albums and lead single ‘Deep Blue’ named song of the year.
From grime anthems such as Badman, to one-night-only pirate radio broadcasts with No Surrender FM, from the bar-raising Wheel Up EP, to the spoken word profundity of Bread and Butter, the diversity of Mango X MathMan’s musical output is matched only by Mango X MathMan released a mixtape called ‘The Quiet Life’ in March and have loads of new tunes to share when they play Dolans this Thursday March 31. www.dolans.ie for the last remaining tickets.
