A GROUP of local volunteers, in association with the Limerick LIMERICK Shannon Rotary Club, are hosting a ‘Downton Abbey’ evening on Friday, May 6 to raise funds for the Rotary Ireland Ukraine Relief Fund.
The event will begin with a private screening of new release ‘Downton Abbey: A New Era’ at 7pm in the ODEON cinema in Castletroy, followed by a drinks reception and live music in the CASK underground cellar bar (part of the Kilmurry Lodge Hotel).
“We are delighted to support this local event to raise vital funds to provide humanitarian aid to those affected by the war in Ukraine,” said Patrick O’Sullivan from Limerick Shannon Rotary Club.
There will be a raffle on the night and attendees are encouraged to dress up in their favourite Downton Abbey style for the occasion.
