#WATCH – Limerick cruise into All-Ireland semi final

Limerick Ladies Football Manager Graham Shine

Graham Shine’s Limerick ladies football side are into the last four of the TG4 LGFA Junior Championship following a 4-11 to 1-5 win over New York at the TUS Gaelic Grounds.

Limerick led 2-9 to 1-2 at the end of the first half but were quite wasteful in front of goal. That trend continued after the break with Shine’s side only managing 2-2 and ended up with 14 wides.

The game started with Marie Dargan opening the scoring for New York but Limerick soon responded with 1-1 from Cathy Mee.

Limerick continued to dominate with scores from Amy Ryan, Mairead Kavanagh and Niamh Ryan before Mee netted the second goal.

Mee then slotted a point from play before Kelly Brady found the net for New York from the penalty spot and Dargan sent over her second point of the half.
