Flag Listeners will play Dolans this Saturday

LIMERICK band The Flag Listeners released their debut album to a packed out Dolans in 2017. It has since received extensive airplay from Tom Dunne, Paul McLoone and many others. This week, singer Eamonn Hehir reported that their upcoming show this Saturday is only the second time they have got to perform since coming out of lockdown.
“It is also our second gig with new drummer, Des O’Grady. Des played in Average Contents and Toucandance way back when, so there are three members of that line-up together again.”
The band, Eamonn Hehir (vocals and guitar), John Steele (electric guitar and vocals), Sean Fox (bass) and Des O’Grady (drums), will be playing tracks from that album, “And Other Short Stories”. Expect Eamonn’s solo work to feature and new band songs currently being recorded for the follow-up album.
The Flag Listeners play Dolans Upstairs this Saturday July 16.
