SPORTSย clubs and organisations in Limerick City and County are being encouraged to apply for a share of the โฌ2 million ‘Sport for All’ fund to provide specific activities and supports for people with a disability.
The application process has opened for the fund which is being administered by Sport Ireland and is open to clubs affiliated toย recognised National Governing Bodies.
The fund will support the initiation or enhancement of disability specific activities within grassroots sports clubs. Clubs should apply directly to their National Governing Bodies who will, in turn, submit a consolidated application on behalf of its club network to Sport Ireland.
Clubs can apply for funding of between โฌ1,000 and โฌ5,000 forย Disability Supports in the areas of education and training; programme activation and delivery as well asย small scale equipment and infrastructure.
Closing date for applications from National Governing Bodiesย is Monday, September 1, so individual applications should be made well before that date.
