Escape is a “dreamy-bossa-banger” – new music from Limerick artist JaYne

LIMERICK artist JaYne (Fraser) follows up on a her summertime soulful single โ€˜Suckerโ€™ with a dreamy-bossa-banger titled โ€˜Escapeโ€™.
The new song hits the airwaves this weekend to coincide with JaYneโ€™s performance at Electric Picnicโ€™s Global Green Stage at 5pm on Sunday.
Escape is JaYneโ€™s modern spin on the classic bossa-nova jazz groove.
She combines subtle beats and synths with a full band sound thanks to Danny Lanham (guitars and bass), Ben Wanders (drums) and Conor Broderick (keys).
JaYne comments, โ€œโ€œThis song is somewhat embellished but I am definitely a bit of a dreamer and often imagine my life elsewhere. I think many of us go through phases of wanting to โ€œget awayโ€ but ultimately no matter where you are, you will always have to meet yourselfโ€
Since moving back to Ireland JaYne has been busy writing and recording from her little studio space on Dry Lane in which there is a thriving creative community of artists and musicians. She recently featured on the title track of Willzeeโ€™s new album โ€˜Kuti Grisโ€™ with Strange Boy and Hazey Haze.
